Could anybody give me a comprehensive explanation of a strange problem which appeared on my indy tourney (1 board per round, 2 sections, 240 players, clocked).
One player (or more) was playing 3 hands with the same partner.
How can this heppen? How BBO software divides players into sections?

It isnt supposed to happen in clocked Ts unless you have a lot of rounds and very few players per section. For example, a tourney with 2 tables and 24 rounds.
It is normal to have playbacks in unclocked tourneys
You have a date/tourney #/hostname ? I can take a look.

Never mind.
The T was created with Movement=Unclocked, hence the playbacks.

Thank you very much for your explanation once again.
My last question is: How many players may play in one section?

depends on the # of entries, and the format (pairs/indy) and the movement (clocked unclocked) and whether the movement is a survivor/swiss.
I know that doesn't help much. I believe sections get to the largest size when survivor movements are used, and in general unclocked tourneys are granted larger sections than clocked tourneys.
The thinking is that it should not matter. If there is a need to control section size I'll consider implementing it, but I can't think of any reason to want that as a TD
