I know this topic came up a long time ago, I just forgot what the forum said.

Two well known and very nice and polite forum posters play a system/style where one partner will overcall and make takeout doubles extremely light...3 hcp. The other is more standard. I note they do prealert all of this.

Is this 2 different systems or perfectly legal? If so is other stuff legal, where one partner plays one thingy and the other something else? Think client/pro bidding but prealerted......

the laws allow for the sponsoring organization to "[require] that both members of a partnership employ the same system (such a regulation must not restrict style and judgement, only method)."

IMO, this is a matter of style, not system. It sounds to me like this pair has gone an extra mile or three trying to be ethical. I applaud them for it.
