Ace and back? Seems silly to do anything but the obvious.
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."

agree with Ken. If we had ♦J, or something that didn't suggest diamonds will provide 2 discards ducking could be the answer, but our ♦ holding couldn't be worse for that.

ace and another must be your best shot to beat this as ducking requires several things to fall into place.

I also made the obvious play of Ace and another. This time I needed to win and lead back a minor to break up the impending squeeze.
