2, unless you are going to say you play this as non-forcing.

2, whether forcing or not. I do not expect this to be passed out. If it is, it is probably right for us.

I will bid my spades later.

2. No reason why we can't expect to get our suits in. Hopefully it doesn't go float.

When I read the post title my first thought was "What is 'how ____ likes his women?'"

I believe that 2 non-forcing is standard in NA. Which, of course, is one of the arguments in favour of transfer advances over RHO's takeout double :)

As it is, I share the thoughts of those who say 2 regardless of meaning. The odds seem pretty good that partner will chirp 2 or that an opp will find some clubs to bid. I have gone +190 several times, but there is no risk of that here... plus 150 is, however, a real possibility B)

2D NF is standard here, but transfers are pretty much expert standard now. Anyways, I would show diamonds regardless of whether it was forcing, NF, or transfer.

2D, I guess NF but I don't know many who play that.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

I nearly always bid my longest suit first, but not this time. I have a strong major to show and I don´t expect that the bidding will be easier after a 2 Diamond call. (It could be when pd bids hearts but it is not when they bid clubs).
Kind Regards

Roland

2, I suppose it's old-fashioned to play this as natural NF but on this hand it's no big deal. In fact I'm happy not to have to transfer with 2 which LHO could double.
