Scoring: IMP

North South

1     2
2     2
3     3NT
Pass

I'll start my problems at 101 so that Frances has space for more problems, as she played in two more rounds than us. This is from the first set of round 6.

You are East.

Partner leads the 9, top of three or more small. You win the A, declarer playing the 2. You return the J. declarer plays the 10, partner the 3 and small from dummy. Systemically partner's 3 shows an even number of hearts originally.

Do you continue hearts or switch to diamonds? If you switch, which diamond do you lead?

Paul

Edit: fixed problems

I think you mean that partner's 3 shows an even number.
Do you mean that partner has an even number left when he plays it, or that systemically it shows that he started with an even number?
