Scoring: IMP

(1)-1-(P)-P,
(X)-P-(P)- ?

Partner could have a good 4 card suit for the overcall.

Teams, what's your decision? If the context of the match matters, include that in your answer, if not, great.

On the previous round I would have bid 2 not forcing.
Now, I still bid 2.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

Run, and be happy about it. You have a good 6 card suit, and apparantly RHO has got spades controlled. Even if it's a 6-1 heart fit your hearts will take 0 tricks in a spade contract and probably like 4 tricks in hearts.

2! When I saw what this question was going to be I assumed we would have no good place to run, but we actually have a great place.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

Thanks, that was a reality check. I ran, turns out this time it didn't work well (I don't remember partner's hand precisely, but it included AK98xx of spades and a singleton heart; RHO penalty passed on a 4 card suit to the J empty. Yikes!)

How can you run on these cards? Pard is marked with a strong 6 card spade suit and LHO has the hearts bottled up!

:P

Of course you run. It is absolutely clear.

2H. I have a nice suit. Pd's cards are far more likely to help me than vice versa.

I might have "run" the round before :) :) :)

Certainly run now, ofc.
