1-(1)-2NT!-(4)
5-(p)-5

2NT = 4+card and 10+HCP
If you normally play 1st and 2nd controls, how do you play 5 and 5 here?
5 : only 1st control or also 2nd control?
5 : Should it promise extra's or is it obligatory with control? Would you bid 5 with: QJx=Qxxx=KQxx=xx ?

5 is likely to be a first-round control, but it doesn't promise it - what else can you bid with A AQxxxx xx KQxx?

Cue-bidding 5 doesn't promise extras, but does imply that you still have your 2NT bid. With QJx Qxxx KQxx xx, which has become an aceless 7-count, I'd definitely sign off
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn
