No, not misunderstanding, not bugs, but truly decision.
It wants to play it!

I decided to risk the double, and indeed GIB was disturbed. After showing "splinter spades", clearly it was serious to play 4-1 fit.
It's pretty comical to play 4-1 when you have 6-2 with diamonds to the AKQJ. Needless to say, 3NT is laydown.
