Seems like many are not satisfied with bidding after precision 1♣opening, so here is what i play :
1♣- 1♦= 0-7 hcp
1♥= 8-11 hcp, balanced or 5+major
1♠= 12+hcp, any 5+card unbalanced (not 5332)
1NT= 12+hcp, balanced
2♣= 8-11 hcp, 6+♣ or 5+♣ with 4major
2♦= 8-11 hcp, 6+♦ or 5+♦ with 4major
2♥= 8-11 hcp, both minor: 4-5/5-4 or better
2♠= 12+hcp, both minor: 4-5/5-4 or better
2NT= 12+hcp, all 4441
3X= 8-11 hcp, 4441: singleton in bid suit
After first answer opener can bid natural or relay. If interest i can write more later.
Have a nice day

Hi wiste1! Welcome to forum!
Nebulous bids in majors and clear bids for minors after 1♣ mystery as opening is just not good style. You will receive real distribution about majors too late and too high to be precise. At last quick info about length of majors and hcp limit can lead to fast arrival contracts, which are base of precision ideology and part of any modern bidding system.

As you might have seen i thought exactly the opposite way, i didnt care about hcp and wanted to show my suit as low as possible, avoiding even the negative 1d bid, and you are trying to seperate even more then normal precision 0-7 8-11 12+.
I believe this is wrong, but thats only believing not anything more.

As you may expect Svein I will not be in favor of your private modifications of Viking. You see from the first 2 responses the concept is generally not understood. Such is causing confusion and your modificated system is for your preferred partner and you alone.
As you have modified Glenn's concept I don't understand why you have not incorporated the modifications stated at page 245-246.
I will be ready to play Viking(Aa/Groetheim) any time but without private modifications.

Hmmm, I don't get the point in make early difference between 8+ and 12+ hcp... When you have to go for slam, you have enought tools to show it later. If there's one thing you might want to know immediatly it's when partner is semi-positive with immediate shape information, this unloads the 1♦ response a lot! I'm happy with the way MOSCITO deals with this.

Thx for replies
I feel well to know the range point early: 0-7, 8-11, 12+
And we get all the information needed usually, with relay or natural.
Hi Claus
i have the old book of Viking Club so no 245-46 pages there

various responses possibilities of a 15HCP+ one club like favorite mine are of fabulous number. and i heard you all whith enormous pleasure. THX all yes.
in the 70's (i am not very young) the multi-italians-succes with Super-Precision
revisited by Belladonna-Garrozo were more than atonishing and as many i was curious of theirs ways. but living in that super-precision was over the patience of my friends. then i work in that (very lazy) way the one club responses :
1D 0-5 or 8+ in hcp but :
most of the others bids naturals and in the 6-10 HCP+Shape range :
1H 5°+ or 44(41)(50) with 44 major
1S 5°+
1NT 6-7HCP (!!)
2C, 2D 5°+ (the hard way even limited 6-9HS)
2NT 55+ minor
3S ARDxxx in H
3H ARDxxx in other
very simplest way, but in fact with more comfort than expected
one intricacy of that construct was dream-like in opening flats :
11-14 : 1D
15-20 : 1C-1D-1NT [*]
21-22 : 2NT
23-24 : by way of MULTI 2D
25+ : 1C-1D-2NT
then 1NT openig is able to take WHAT YOU WANT ! ! ! ! !
a very distinguish way / the standards ones no ? (lol)
friendly yours AB, Alain Bonhomme, (bhtf on BBO)
[*] 1C-1D-1NT 15-20 what a strange bid ! but responder :
-- 0-5 : stop in some longer by transfert, or Pass.
-- 6-7 : have not bid 1C-1D
-- 8-9 and 5° major : id.
-- 8-9 and 4° major : 2D/2H tranfert then 2NT
-- 8-9 and 44 major : 2C then limit fit or 2H (or 2S)
-- 8-9 and no major : 2NT natural (or equivalent)
-- 10+ no pb

I have no idea whether those modifications Glenn has made are good or not. I dont care about such - only to get it right.
The changes are:
1♣ - 1♥ - 1♠ - 1NT= Relay
Via this you show a spade suit: 1♣ -1♥ - 1NT
1♣ - 2♠ = 12+ relay,1444,4441,Black singleton
1♣ - 2NT = 12+ relay,4144,4414,Red singleton
Rather complicated structure the guys have created - but successfull they are!

Have get question about futher bidding after 1♣-1♥(8-11, bal. or 5+major)
1♣ - 1♥
1♠= Relay
1N= 17-19 bal. > NT-system
others= natural 5+card and 17-19
1♣ - 1♥
1♠ - ?
1N= 5+♠ > 2♣ is new relay
2♣= balanced > 2♦ is new relay
2♦ and higher is 5+♥
The relay structure is like Viking Club, i have played that system earlier with success. So i get the same information with my WHC-Precision
Me and partner still not use all of it because he is new to precision, but i hope we soon could play the full system
