Hi, I have been discussing this hand and would like to know how everyone else would choose to defend. Thanks in advance.

A♣ and a ♣ seems too obvious to possibly be right...
If partner is leading from 9x or 9xx tell partner not to do that...

I don't see any reason not to play club club, and there are certainly many layouts where it is necessary to beat the hand. It definitely seems like our most likely way to beat them anyway.
By the way I definitely would not pass over 2D.

Agree on defense and bidding but I'll one-up you, I would definitely not pass in 3rd seat.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

Oh I thought we were in 2nd seat when I read the problem. Even playing a style where light 3rd seat openers are not expected I agree it is definitely wrong to pass.

These colours at imps! Most definitely a bidding problem.

Agree that there is more for a new player to learn here about the (mis)bidding than the defense.
I'm sure you could construct a hand where you have to duck this but so what.
