(2) Didn't my 9 on Trick 3 request a return, not ?

It completes its errors by discarding a club- a dimond is more useful as it can ruff before declarer. Don't trust a GIB

(2) GIB doesn't play suit preference or attitude signals. I think it gives count frequently, that's about it.
