I was in Lowe's (a home improvement DIY store) today, picking up a trash can. Happened to walk by the tools section. They had a mechanic's toolbox that stood about six feet tall. "Hm, big sucker," I thought. Then I saw the price tag: $1898. Unbelievable! I looked closer: the damn thing includes a Pioneer stereo and a refrigerator. Who the heck buys a toolbox with a refrigerator in it? :o :P

That's all I need when working: music and cold beer, no tools.

idk wth the stereo is for, but I am pretty sure there are some construction/home improvement materials that it is good to store in a fridge.

Seems so.

When I was growing up a friend of the family with a rather shrewish wife had a workshop in the garage. Every tool known to man gleaming and in perfect order.

An armchair reading lamp and entertainment system in the corner were the only things ever used. Somebody out there has found a niche market that's willing to pay the big bucks.

That's the one!

What boggles my mind more than the idea is the price. I don't think the damn thing is really worth nearly two grand.

That depends on how "shrewish" the wife is.
