Status of players when invited to Team matches

When invited to a Team match with someone I don't know - the Invite page pops up and then I have to either Accept or Reject. The problem is that sometimes I don't know who the player is, but there is no way when the Invite page is up to check on my prospective partner's status with me. I can't see whether I have marked them as an enemy, or maybe, as I do, put a note against their name saying maybe 'Avoid' or something similar.
I have to first press Reject and then go to their name in the Lobby to check to know. Of course by then it has often caused a problem, because the Team match organiser messages me to ask why I have rejected.
It would be very useful to be able to to see the player's status (neutral, friend, enemy - and/or any comments I've inserted) right there and then.
