I don't have time for a full fledged fantasy league, however, something similar to the "One and Done" league that I've played in would be an amusing distraction.
Each week, you pick one team who you think is going to win.
If you're right, you survive to the next week.
If you're wrong, you're out
You can only use a given team once during the course of the regular season.
(If I chose that the Pats are going to win during week 1, I never get to chose the Pats again)

I must admit my primary interest in this thread was to see what was meant by "football" (I hadn't seen who started the thread, as that would have given away the answer).

As a Cowboys fan I hate to say that I love the Eagles chances this year, against the Pats

I was going to say I'd be interested if it was football, but since this appears to be armball, I'm not

My girlfriend once won one of these by picking favorite animals and La Rams saying "what a cute name for a team" thinking they played out of Paris.
I might even (shudder) volunteer to score it.
What is baby oil made of?

I would enjoy that if it was college.
You wouldn't even have to score it, there are multiple places that would do this for free. I used to have a group on yahoo all the time. I wonder why I stopped. I may look into that again.
