I have loved Netflix since the beginning.

I hated when it doubled my rates last month.

Now I get an email that more change is on the way confusing me.

In fact it seems to change its name.

They're splitting the DVD and the streaming businesses. I'm all in favour of the changes, it annoyed me to be paying for something I couldn't use. The streaming is all but useless to me, I can only get a satellite ISP where I live, and I'm not much on watching movies between 0200 and 0700, the unrestricted slot. Outside those hours, I can watch about 20 minutes per day provided I don't want to use the net for anything else.

Streaming bandwidth is expensive. Let those who want it pay for it.

Letting you purchase the services separately to save money is reasonable. But lots of customers use both services, and making them go to different web sites is inconvenient. It's like if Amazon.com had decided to use a different web page for buying household items rather than books.

Netflix should also offer a package price for streaming and DVDs that's cheaper than buying both services a la carte.

I used only watch instantly. It was trivial for me to switch, and it also made it cheaper for me.

Two problems with streaming.

1) lack of movie and tv content
2) my wifi and blue ray dvd about once a month cannot talk with each other and I cannot get on the network to bring up netflix. I now, tomorrow have to call 2 companies, belkin...wifi and panasonic...blue ray to fix this issue yet again.
