From Sunday's BBO IMP Speedball: nobody's vulnerable. You deal and hold:

10 9 3
A 10 7
A 5 4
9 8 5 4

Here's the auction:

Pass - (1) - Pass - (1)
Pass - (1NT) - Pass - (2)
Pass - (2) - Pass - (4)

What do you lead?

Not a
Not a
I am torn between a and the A. I have no preference.

Someone smarter than I am will tell me why one is better than the other.

I lead a small diamond.

All suits are breaking, so if they are not nuts or desprate, their game will make unless some finesses loss or we can create other problems. I try to create problems for them.
Kind Regards
