Well, west could have bid 2nt instead of 3c, and probably all the definitions of 3c/3d/3h should be adjusted to something more sensible. 3c should probably show a fifth club and deny a fifth heart, east should pass this; 3d by east should probably be 6+ diamonds 2- clubs if not 1- clubs, west should pass this.
