xxx is the best option here clearly...but we will have to settle for 2 or 2 if agreement allows. My first question would be about the xx. Partner is probably looking at a weaker hand with decent distribution. I am liking the odds of game even opposite a weak hand.

I pass. On a good day they go down or get to the two level in a denomination where they can go down.

Game and colour matter here, ie. at matchpoints it's tempting to just pass and possibly hammer anything they bid especially if they are red.
