Sorting of names in the Partnership Desk

This is about the webbased BBO interface. When you register for a tournament - you are taken to a Partnership Desk. You can add your name to the desk also invite someone whose name is already there in the desk. The names are sorted in alphabetical order. This means that someone like me will always be towards the end of the list and will have lesser chance of getting invited.

Why not sort these names in the order in which people added their name to the desk?
