The funny thing is, I'm surprised the bots did not assume you really did have 35 HCP, and then correct to 7NT with an 11 count. Had that happened, would West-bot double with an ace on lead?

Yes, but it wouldn't lead the ace :D

I remember once designing a system for our "silly systems" evening at university which had 3NT = specific ace ask. Not too weird, but I followed it up with 4NT = specific king ask and 5NT = specific queen ask. No, these didn't come up. But it comes into its own here though - you can bid 5NT-7C; 7H!
