Why no NT rebid?

Aside from the issue of GIB's rebid, there is a weird systemic omission in advancer's options. As I was trying to decide whether the South hand was worth a stronger move after North's cuebid, I noticed that all spade rebids are described as showing 6+ spades, so apparently there is no bid for a weak advancer with 4-5 spades.
