How would you handle this one using mikeh's treatment?
North

A Q 9 x
South
Q 10 x

K 8 x x x
1S - 1NTF
3C! - 3D!
3NT! - ??
where 3C! = a "multi" GF :
- - artificial (either a gf 1-suiter, just a hair under a 2♣opening, or
- - real clubs or
- - precisely a 4 card heart suit.
3D! = "noise" or "stall" ( essentially asking for more info )
After 3D! , Opener's options are:
- - 3♠ (1-suiter),
- - 3♥ (precisely 4... because all gf 5 card ♥ would have jumped to 3♥ over 1NT ),
- - 3N (4 card clubs) or
- - 4♣ (5-5 or better).

If you are playing "Jeff's Elixir" as per the original guidelines, this is a 2♣ rebid.
The spade/club two suiters that go through 3♣ are not 5(13)4. Rubens never recommended 3♣ on this pattern. On the actual hand, why on earth is that not a 2♠ raise, even if playing constructive raises?

I 2/1, a 2S raise = 8,9 exact .
Responder was going to rebid 2S if Opener showed a minimum rebid .
When Opener makes a GF and shows a real ♣ suit, Responder could upgrade with support in both blacks.... but I'm not sure how over 3NT!

I would bid 2♠, not 1N. I play what we call semi-constructive, as in we go through 1N only with crap 3 card support, and this isn't crap.

If partner perpetrated the sequence you suggest to 3NT, I can bid 4♣ to show a club fit and then 4♠ non-forcing (typically Hx) over a red suit cue.
The hand is too good for that though, I will bid 4♣ then 4NT to show a forcing ♠ feature.

OK.... let's upgrade Responder with a "useless" ♦K to give him a hand that would jump to 3S over a minimum rebid by Opener:
South
Q 10 x
Q x
K x x
K 8 x x x
I'm really curious what Responder would do over the 3NT! ( showing real ♣ ) with the double-fit .
