Most English people who I might've asked are already playing a national event this weekend but I am sure I can find a pair.

Alright, I will tell LLande to expect the final lineup from you then. Good luck!

Just found out last night that I am working tomorrow. Will be home less than an hour before the match and need to make dinner. Probably can scratch me out this time. If you want to play another JEC match I would be glad to though.

I've arranged for a pair of British juniors to play. 30th time's the charm! Thanks for the offers, Hrothgar and Rumenpard, much appreciated.

Get the slam decisions right and you will win.

JEC's teammates always seem to, but they can pitch IMPS in weird places too, so they are beatable.

A few more boards like this one and we might actually win...

JEC's teammates always seem to,

e.g.

Partner has lots of points in the suit where I'm void? Slam must be good then...

A familiar story, I'm afraid. Up by 26 after three boards, still ahead at halftime, they put on 41 unanswered imps in the next 7 boards. Final score was 84-28, I'll post some hands in due course.
