Didn't mean any offense to you or Fredin or anything, was just trying to have a discussion. Sorry if any offense was taken, was honestly not intended. And yes, sometimes I am trying to be rude or a dick on purpose but I usually admit it so hopefully you believe me in this case

Np I was probably too quick in dismissing your example.

Thanks for the blood bath hand Phil.

Assuming you dont play FP.
In direct seat do you think its pretty normal/standard to double again with a 14-15 count with 4 trumps without trump quality ?

(1C)--X--(P)--P
(1D)--?

(I guess opener didnt XX because he doesnt have 3S)

With what kind of hand would you double 1D ?

Would you double with that ?
From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."

Depends on opponents methods. If my partnership was the 1 opener, North has 5 and a weak NT, and South could have up to a 9 count with no 5-card major if 4432 any and 4441 any, or 11+ if exactly (4)333.
