Error generating deal

Flash app. In a bidding table, occasionally when you click on "redeal" you get the error message "error generating deal". Re-clicking "redeal" repeatedly eventually gets a new deal.
Why does this happen? Isn't it possible to retry on the server-side instead of having me click multiple times?

Was this with constrained deals or random?

Oh, I did. It was a while ago but Diana contacted me online and we figured it out.
If memory serves me, you get several shots at generating a deal. If no random deal generated within the allotted time fits the constraints, you get this error. So, if your constraints are super strict you might get this pretty often.
