Help
I have what seems like a weird problem with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.
I can neither log in to BBO through the android app, nor play nor watch anonymously, nor access the BBO forums website either with the standard internet browser that was loaded with the device nor with the Chrome app.
I have no problems with other websites or apps as far as I am aware. For example I just tried the bridgewinners website which loaded ok and I was able to read an article on there.
Any advice here?

It sounds to me like something is blocking your access to the bridgebase.com domain. Can you get to the main www.bridgebase.com page?

Adobe no longer support Flash on Android OS.
It is possible manually to install Flash, but you really need to know what you are about, and even then you need to keep an eye on the updates, because any updates have to be manually identified and installed.

Hi
This randomly started working again. However then last night it stopped. My device seems to work with any other website or application that I have loaded that needs the internet but I cannot access BBO forums nor the main BBO page www.bridgebase.com and neither does the android BBO app load correctly for me.
I wanted to watch the vugraph from Bali last night when it stopped working. It randomly (it seems) started again later in the evening but it is not working again today.
An error message is being displayed in the Android app at least some of the time when I cannot log in it says: " Unable to load a critical file from the Internet. Please make sure you are connected to the Internet and then click the button below" the button below says "Try again".
However as I stated by implication I am connect to the internet as I can browse any other website I have tried and use other internet applications - for example right now I went to stuff.co.nz a news website that I use and then acbl.org which as far as I recall I have never accessed on my device both loaded but then when i tried to load www.bridgebase.com/forums I got the error "This web page is not available" - with two buttons "Reload" "More".
I have tried clearing the cache etc, but as I said it seems weird that this is only happening with BBO and suggests to me that the problem is with the BBO site or software.

One more thing. Sometimes the critical file error does not come up but I still cannot log in. I can get to the login window but pushing the login button seems completely ineffective.

That "Critical file" error happens occasionally for the regular web version of BBO, too. Retrying always fixes it.
The main www.bridgebase.com page is a very vanilla web page, it doesn't do anything fancy. If it doesn't display, it's just a basic network communication problem, and there's not much we can do about that. You're coming from the opposite side of the world from us (our servers are all in the southeastern US, you're in New Zealand), that network delay may just be too much.
