Another poor MP score

Well, poor score at any form, really.

For once it was not an Instant, and the other tables are equally worthy of comment.

To score 50% you need to pass this out in 2DX and make 3 overtricks.

To do well you simply redouble and same tricks. Yes, oppo leave you in it.

2H by me was not a great bid. I was not expecting to buy it in 2D, redoubled or otherwise. Even so, if taking that view 2S may have been better. That said, I cant understand North's pass of 2H. I would prefer an immediate 2S overcall to 1S and pass.
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Wow double of 2♦ in balance shows ♦! How is this possible? and East doesn't have it's bid, I'm shocked.

Actually, based on experience, the robots get 2-4 HCP leeway

How bout the biddable ♦? Gib is getting the Ace and that's it no spots and no ruffs with 4333 hand the worst holding.

It should show a penalty double of ♠ with willingness to penalize ♦ as well (Something like AQT9x xx Kxx xxx). I'm guessing one, or both, opps have stretched.

GIB's terms are clearly defined in a pinned thread at the top of this forum. "Biddable" means any 5card suit, or 4 with the A, KQ, KJ, or QJT. I'm surprised West passed 2♥.
