Assuming we've made upgrades/downgrades correctly and playing a 14-16 NT, what do folks recommend for invites vs GF auctions?
I'm thinking...
10-just gf, at worst we're 10 opposite 14
9-invite, partner only accepts with 16 (maybe great 15)
This is for imps btw and the special concern is getting to our vul games. What do Meckwell do? They're known for 23 hcp no trump games and can't see them
missing 25 hcp games.
What are others doing? Do you change for Vul vs NV?

Play the recommended structure over a 15-17 NT but with 1 point more 😄
More seriously, decent 9 to bad 10 invite, decent 10 push to game. And partner is expected to accept with 16 or 15 *HCPs* with extras (eg 5 card minor provided you didn't already count 1 for it, 10s and 9s, etc.).

Apollo may have been kidding in his first sentence, but I am not. Play the recommended structure over a 15-17 1NT but with one point more. That is the correct answer.
You could play an entirely different structure, but the difference between a 14-16 1NT and a 15-17 point 1NT is not a big enough difference to worry about.
I play an entirely different structure over my 10-13 1NT. There are good reasons for changing the entire structure when using a weak or mini-NT as opposed to a strong NT. But 14-16 is still a strong NT. So you don't have to change your methods. A one point adjustment will work just fine.

As the others have said, the 15-17 responses +1 point...
When I play 15-17, if I don't have a 4-card major I pass with 8 and raise to 3NT with 9. I have lots of better things to do with a 2NT rebid than wait for a 8.725-point hand to come up. Playing 14-16, presumably pass 9 and blast 10. (There will be slightly more 9s worth an invitation opposite 14-16 than there are 8s worth an invitation opposite 15-17, but I doubt it's very many.)
