I think this solves main issues in the current rules. All players - let me know what you think.
Hello Ovunc,
I recommend you find a solution and write it down as the rule for the next event. :)
I don't mind the seedings much but I like your idea about it.

i don't know if this would actively handle the withdrawls or not, or if it's even possible.

If someone withdraws...just leave their score blank until the end, then take the average score of each other player in the group and use that as the result against the withdrawl?

For example. My current average is 5.666... so my score against the withdraw would be 5.666.. and their score would be 4.333 they just get no credit for finishing the event. That way scores aren't inflated with a random 10-0 result because someone didn't play.

Or does this make no sense whatsoever? :)

Have challenged and had expired twice the other two, so I presume they default lose?

Hoping to make the knockouts.

If your opp accepts but does not play, then he/she default loses. Just send again.

10-0 is not the actual score, it is just written for showing that the guy withdrew and counting the number of matches played correctly.

My challenge vs. prasanna was expiring without acceptance, so I have cancelled and re-issued (now the 4th request). Just logging this here as I don't want to get a 0VP or something if he doesn't play.

From now on please start checking whether your scores in black are entered correctly.

Scores in red are temporarily entered that way so that I can keep track of number of matches finished. It'll be edited according to the rule at the end.

Finally I got a message from samboone (group 3), she wrote:
"i am not aware of signing up for anything, sorry"
We don't have to wait for her to play.

Edit: As to veryfy (group 2), I'm not sure if he understood how to issue challenges, he said some "went away". Don't give up, he wants to play.

Where? I clicked on the Scores dropbox link in the initial post, but all I see are the entrants and their seeding points, not any results.

I have issued and renewed challenges to zenoo and samboone (group 3) for about a week now, but so far the challenges have not been accepted.

zenoo / samboone: would you be available this week for the challenge? Deadline of 1/28 is approaching. Thanks.

They're not obvious. When I open the page, that row shows a URL -- I have to move the cursor down to the row and then it changes to tabs.
