People tab Help to show the offline button

When I choose the People tab on the main screen, I can add people that I usually play with and if they are online, they show as a green blob. If they are offline, they do not appear. There should be an option at the bottom of the screen, next to the Add button that allows me to see who is not online but it isn't there. My partner has shown me a picture of his screen and he has that button. Why don't I?

The "Show offline" button is at the far right. You have to drag the dividing line to the left to be able to see it.
