The new algorithm is terrible, it blocks people iddle for several minutes (I've seen clocks at -11, -13 and -14 minutes already due to the new nonsense)

I want the algorithm that made people play and allowed for slowest pairs to play against themselves several times if neccesary back. Let me use a keyword to make it work the old way please.

There was no change to any algorithm...

Are you using Show tournament status to see which table is slow, and then go to their table to see why they are slow?

Definitely there was a change.

In the past slow pairs were "trapped" and had to face each others several times sincce by the time they finished there was nobody else avaiable to play.

This doesn't happen anymore. Now the algorithm locks not so slow pairs, so that the slowest pairs can play against someone "new" on every round. and no match ups are repeated

How "new" is this? I took over programming the server in May after Uday left, and I haven't touched this part of it.

I'd say it happens only since 3-5 weeks ago.

Then I just have to say it again. I'm the only programmer of the server, and I haven't been anywhere near this part of it. Nothing regarding movements has changed in the past few months.
