From a team match with IMP scoring at a local club a couple of days ago:

Dealer: W
Vul: NS

I was playing basic 2/1 with a very good partner and we only got to 5.

6 was found at only two of twelve tables.

1d-1s
2c-3nt
4nt-6c

Alternatively, W could upgrade to a 3c rebid.
The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket

++++++++++++++++++++
Seems hard to me. 3N seems the normal result.
On the left is a contrived and unconvincing auction.
Second thoughts:
Having read Helene_T's reply, I quite like her auctions.

This is a very sensible auction, I suspect ours would be much murkier than that after a 1-1-2-2-3 start and we'd end up guessing.

It's neat, but what are the constraints for selecting 3nt rather than an artificial 2?

Could happen to us too, and would probably end up in 3NT.
Although with those red suits I might stretch to a 3 rebid in which case it drops out quite easily:
1 - 1
3 - 4
4(control ) - 4N (RKCB)
5(2+Q) - 6
p.

My younger partner is capable of opening 1NT here which would also work for us:
1N - 2
2(no 5cM) - 2(spades)
3(misfit,max) - 3(clubs)
4 - 4(control )
4(control !) - 6
p.

Nullve, don't you play 2H as 4th suit forcing in this auction? If so, 2N would not be the correct response. 2S should show 3 card support, not a doubleton. so I guess I'd bid 3D over 2H. The auction might continue:

1D - 1S
2C - 2H
3D - 3N
4N - 6N

I don't know if anyone is interested but I tried it in BBO and a few major computer bidding and playing applications. I couldnt get past 5 clubs with 2/1 but managed to get to a variety of slams with any number of other systems and software. I have forgotten exactly which slams and which apps but it seems 2/1 was the problem rather than the apps per se. I have to say I was surprised with some of the slams including the way different systems treated quants :) Wbridge got to 6 clubs with SEF, WBridge and SAYC. QPlus got to either 6NT or 6C with Acol or whatever, but I think stopped at 4 or 5 somethings in 2/1
