Was it Covid that stopped the teams getting there

Interrupted training too much

If you refer to the Olympics (joking or not) then Bridge is not on the agenda although it is recognised as an Olympic sport, like other top mind games.
A sensible compromise often proposed would be to include the mind games in the Winter Olympics, but no success so far.

I think there was a proposal a decade or so ago to include several mind sports (bridge, chess, checkers, and xiangqi) in the Winter Olympics, it was never adopted. I think the World Mind Sports Games were created as a substitute.
