How do you handle rude behavior.? I have noted many comments that are totally inappropriate and offensive.

Sadly, you are not the first person to experience comments that they consider inappropriate and rude.

I totally sympathise. I came here looking for answers on how to deal with/report rudeness in tournaments, as a pair was conversing in Italian (which I partially understand but it was distracting me and it was idiomatic). When I was told to "bid", I explained, that I was translating their comments to the table (so I would know if they wanted something from me) and was called

"la solita idiota di bbo"

Didn't need to translate that.

Call to director - no response.

That was my first and only tournament with real people- it was advertised as friendly for beginners (candy apple BBOfest). sigh....I had even greeted them and apologised in advance for any errors, as I was a beginner.

Lots of love for the forum though!
