Any idea on how to eliminate being incessantly asked to play in someone's "pipe"dream team game? Thanks

Let me be clearer, sorry. When I'm "loitering" and looking to sub around somewhere, I'll receive a barrage of requests to substitute in any of a plethora of "Team" games. When I decline twice, I must then reregister to sub. Rinse. Repeat. Any help?

No idea sorry, I would guess that there is no filtering function available to subs

It's not a new request and I imagine it has some merit.
I never figured out either why a player should wish to substitute unknown dropouts or a Director should prefer random humans as substitute with a robot available, but to each his own medicine.

It's incredibly annoying.
Multiple requests have been made to fix it and nothing happens.
Apparently it's possible to land on the moon with the computing power of an HP125 calculator but not possible to specify the type of game you're available to sub for.
Perhaps when the server is upgraded from an abacus it can be implemented.

My sympathies as I prefer to open a table with 3 robots, spec VuGraphs deals and compare results to being punished in any sub game
But other players have just put something in their profile asking No team games, no random invites. Best I can think of at the moment.

Have you tried "invisible" log in? You might be able to still register as a sub and yet remain invisible to the rest of the world.

In the settings, there is a Notifications section. Turn off the one for "Notify me when a team match needs players". This has always been there (for years, at least).

Thanks but this particular notification has always been turned off. The problem is a function of registering as a sub. There are no filters on this tab. I enjoy sitting in for a hand or two in a random game but "Team Games" border on not being real bridge.

Ay, when I were lad we wished we had an abacus.
We'd walk 50 miles across broken glass to get home from school where dad would cut off our thumbs.
Now I can only count in base 8.
