Reset table history at a Casual table

Frequently I join a casual table that has been in play for several dozen hands. The original players are long gone. Fairly frequently someone will ask to reset the score. I think there is a better option - reset the entire history for the table as if it is a new table just starting. As a retired software developer, I suspect that offering this option would be something quite simple to develop and deploy.
