Do robots claim now (finally?)

I'm playing in the country-v-country tournament and a robot just claimed tricks! Is this a new feature? Is it all robots for all games, or just in certain circumstances? It made me do a triple-take but if they are finally claiming, that is a nice improvement!

Yes, this was a new feature that came out today. They'll only claim when they have all the remaining tricks.

At the moment it only works in daylong and challenge tournaments.

Following this major release the amount of times BBO loses connection has increased dramatically. At times multiple times an hour. When you notice on time and log back in to rejoin a table you see it happened to the other players too, all with the Reserved status.
