Profile contents garbled Foreign language accented characters are displayed wrongly

Hello,

Starting 2 or 3 weeks ago the contents of the profiles appear garbled if they include a foreign language accented character or just a special character like "/".

I suspect this is due to some recent change introduced by BBO but am not sure. Could also be some configuration in my browser. Addressed the question to BBO Support but got not answer.

1. Can someone verify that this 'garbling' is general and I am not the only person concerned ?

2. Do you have a suggestion on how I could correct it ?

Yes, this is a general problem. This was an unexpected side effect of the server maintenance we did a couple of weeks ago, which changed how accented characters are processed in the database. We've been working on a fix, we don't know how soon it will be implemented.
