Crazy bids. Any protection?

So I am playing in a Goulash game. My partner open 1NT with a SINGLETON ACE OF HEARTS. A stupid bid and clearly non systemic. Obviously hits me with long hearts and we end up in a outlandish small hearts contract, losing 13MPs and my first place in the game.

Is there anything that can be done? Can this kind of crazy non systemic bids be sanctioned somehow?

Thanks,

Mark.

If you're playing Goulash then it makes no sense to use the same bidding systems as normal bridge.. it's common to play 1nt as an artificial 2 suited hand.

But if it's just a random individual BBO tourney then anything goes; people bid randomly and they're all luck based.

Yes

You can look at all 4 hands, decide how you THINK that the auction should have gone, and then using the magic power of arithmetic, you can adjust your score to whatever makes you happy...

With this impact the "official" score that is displayed on BBO?
Nope. Absolutely not.

But, does anyone actually look at the official score that is displayed on BBO?
Nope. Absolutely not.

Simply put, this is all in your head.

4 is good, but any further bidding seems misguided.

Sanctioned by who? Goulash tournaments are not usually run by any organized bridge league.
