Playing 2/1, IMPs, all white, pick-up partner deals and opens 1D, which is overcalled 2C by my RHO. I hold:

K74
AKQJ6
J97
93

and I bid 2H. Partner bids 2S, which comes to me. Is 3C here played as stopper ask or showing spade fit? Thanks.

3C = general game force.
Partner is expected to further describe their hand, best they can. Remember partner
Might be stuck with no perfect rebid, so give them some latitude.

3C is a stopper ask, you have 3S / 4S to show a spade fit.
Only in very rare situation would you bid 3C with a spade fit, ..., it sets up a gf, and it would show slam interest.
You may need to go via the cue, because a simple raise to 3S is usually not played as GF.
With kind regards
