BBO sucks on mobile Playing on mobil

I play a lot of individual tournaments and often in the middle of a game Im tossed out with a cryptic message that the website is not available and many times it takes too long time to get back to the table.Very irritating to be taken away from the tournament. Sometimes I even have to restart my mobile since Im stuck with the message. Is this made on purpose to make us sign up for an addfree option ?

Are you playing at home? Do you have shaky wi-fi in your house? Or do you have that "unified 2.4G-5G" set up on your router?

One known issue with BBO - known for a decade or more - is if you change your data stream, it freaks out and kicks you out. Wi-fi to data (or back), and I remember with one router when it dropped me from the 5G connection to the 2.4 or back, etc.

It doesn't use much data at all, but it does do a keep-alive and is not happy if it doesn't work, even once.

Note: not employee of BBO, can't speak for them, don't know the internals. They could have fixed all this for all I know.

There's also a known issue on iOS -- if you switch to another app, the BBO app is not able to send keepalives while in the background, so the server thinks you've disconnected.

It only happens on mobile, not when playing with computer
