I think I figured out how Polls sometimes disappear.

I (at least) can only add a Poll to a post from PC, not from phone.
If you make an OP and add a Poll, do not modify the title of OP from phone, or the Poll disappears

It's not something BBO can fix, so just avoid.
You can safely modify the title from PC with Full Editor.
