Over 1NT, it depends on the minimum lengths of the 2♥ call. If it can be 44, we treat it as noise. If it promises at least 5 hearts and 4 spades, we treat it as a hearts overcall (and vice versa if it shows at least 5 spades and 4 hearts). If it shows at least 55 we treat it as a two-suiter. If it shows at least (54) either way we treat it as a hearts overcall. Most of these give me the ability to bid 3♥ showing invitational(+) with 5(+) spades (Transfer Lebensohl).

Yep - straightforward that worked with opener raising to 4♠ making 5. Couldn't quite understand why most were in a weaker 3N.

3NT I do not fancy playing in a spade fit when I know the BEST I can hope for is a 41 split. If I start naturally, by showing clubs via whatever our methods are, I run the risk we will miss 3n because partner may never be sure we have both majors stopped.

Late to the discussion and not much to add... we too would ignore 4-4 as a holding and bid a Rubensohl transfer to spades, then clubs.
