Scoring: IMP

(2)-3-(ps)-3nt
(ps)-?

After pd's 3nt, would you make another call?

Well I wouldn't have bid 3C to put myself in this spot. Yes I bid 4D now.

3N could be the right spot but it just seems unlikely with this hand and I'd pull it

Sure, 4D.

I know one thing for sure, I want to play in one
of my minors.

I agree with the overcall and would now pull to 4 - passing is too deep a position to take, and clearly odds against, especially at IMPs.
Kind regards,

4D is clear.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

I don't like 3, and my hand is so poor I am just bidding 5.

I would read a 4 bid from South as a at least mild slam try. This is no weak take out. It askes pd to bid the most likely game, but he certanly will bid more with some extras.
Do you share this view?

If so okay, xxxx,Axxx,Ax,Axx can be enough for a slam in clubs.
Kind Regards

Roland

I think I would have 4N'd previously. I pull to 4 here.
