You need a lot from partner to make slam good. I'd certainly pass. He has quite a few hearts. after a trump lead slam could be very very hopeless, especially if partner doesn't have the queen of diamonds.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

(1) Pass.
This is close for me. Slam might well make given that partner did not respond 4 to 1 - i.e. he has more high cards. But it might equally well go down. Given I have no clear sequence to describe my hand, and have been preempted, I prefer to stay at a safe level. But bidding on is reasonable. Even RKCB, planning to bid 6 opposite 3 keycards is plausible.

(2) 5 for me would ask for a control.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

Surprised by that. I would rather think it asks for a control? Can't you bid 5 to ask for a control or would you take 5 as to play?
(To ask for a control you can of course also start with cueing 5?)

5 typically asks for either a heart control or trump quality (of course you need to agree which of the two it is!), but asking for trump quality seems not so useful if you play RKC (except when either p has a void hearts).

Here I would take it as a general slam invite since both partners' strengths are still somewhat loosely defined and usually one of us will have a stiff hearts on this auction.

Although this looks like a semi nice hand, I am going to pass. The 5 level could be dangerous. I wouldn't mind X'ing the 3H previous round for takeout.

5S I think would be asking for a heart control. Though that'll seem a bit weird as we've sprung back to life after our initial pass of 3H.

5S sounds like a general slam try. It will have at least second round control in every suit because otherwise you would cue bid.

I would pass on this hand. Yes, it's a nice hand, but I would expect to be missing two aces much of the time.

Thinking is an overbid.

Partner hasn't shown anything more than AK-7th of spades. We have a tenace in clubs, a probably heart loser and its likely we are going to get some poor splits.

Pard could have invited slam with something suitable, and I obviously would have cooperated.

Looks like an easy pass in my opinion.

5 would be a general slam try for me.
Kind regards,
Harald

Partner is under quite a bit of pressure.

I want him to compete with moderate hands so the jump to game might not be based on a great hand.

Therefore I need to pass now.

I like to play double and then pull to 4 is a much stronger auction here.

My partner did bid 5. Our Agreement is that a 5-level bid asks a usefull card, but I thought I did bid enough and passed. 5=

You should have doubled 3 for take-out.

Now pass, of course. Ain't gonna take guesses.
