LHO opens a strong club and they have a relay auction to 6NT:
1♣ – 1♥
1♠ - 1NT
2♣ - 2♦
2♥ - 2NT
3♣ - 3♦
3♥ - 3NT
4♣ - 5♣
6NT

Hopefully that's about the auction, needless to say I ran out of pass cards.

West (opener) has show nothing but a strong club opening and a desire to play in 6NT after his partner has shown a 1♣=4=4=4 hand with 6 controls (A=2,K=1), exactly one of the top three spade honors, and one or more of the top three honors in diamonds and hearts.

Just gonna lead a passive club, they have no fit and a club will never blow a trick. This does not seem like the time to go aggressive.

Okay, so RHO is 4441. Attacking spades or diamonds is too likely to cost, given that RHO has strength in each, so it is between a passive heart or club.

Given that RHO can only finesse one way in clubs anyway, I'll try that.

Yeah club, its hard to see how an agressive lead might be needed except if partner has an ace on our king.

The auction clearly tells us to lead a club here - unless we have some other standout lead in our hand. There's nothing in our hand telling us to lead any other suit, so ♣9 it has to be.
