At third position you hold :
7 6
9 5 4
A K 10 5 3
8 4 2
Your partner opens 1 ♣ (can be as short as 2 cards) and RHO overcalls 1♥.
What would you bid?
(note: according to your system 2♦ would be not forcing but showing some strength between 8/9 to 12 points)
After some answers i will post second round of bidding

2♦ still looks light for the OP system, though I did consider it at some length. Red was amongst the deciding factors for me.

If the agreement is 2 ♦ shows about 9-12, then I see no reason to violate it with this 9 loser hand.

2d = 8/9-12 5+ dia
AKTxx and out seems to meet the intent of the rule if not the exact definition
hard to imagine having the spade J would qualify this hand for 2d but not having
it forbids its use. I even have some clubs in case p feels the need to run from dia.

I prefer to play 1♠ as 4+ ♠ and the response I would have made is double as Negative, only promising the unbid minor and the inability to bid 1NT, 1♠, or raise clubs. Mostly something like this hand.

not between 9 and 12
BUT if pard bids 2d, fair enough, lets move on please.
