IMPs

What's your choice from the available options listed above in the poll?

Pass. Partner is most unlikely to have the cards to allow you to make 5 of anything. 4S may also make, but x is a second choice.

I voted X, but probably with more of an expectation of partner leaving it in than most forum posters have.

I certainly wouldn't consider anything other than Pass or X here.

With three Aces I'm getting the red card out. Opener is likely (partially) abusing the fact he's 3rd and W/R, so to pick up 300 wouldn't be surprisng.

Next problem: What on earth do I lead?!

Double and I will take my lumps what ever they may be. If partner passes at least I have what looks like 3 tricks. I know my action is risky but I hate getting robbed.

Pass like a shot. Because last weak a partner doubled 4 and I bid 4NT as a no-values takeout with both 55+ minors, at MP, and we went screaming off for a bottom while 4 was off one for an average. (He had a flatter hand though.)

I dislike a 4 X as "optional", and think it should be one thing or the other to avoid problems like that. My preference is penalty.
