I don't understand the poll choices
(1) X (understandable)
(2) 2H (described as aggressive weak jump overcall) (not understandable)
Against robots I agree with the above poster: 1N
Next choice would be 1H (not poll option), which I find from experience with robots to be their preference
Last choice would be X.
2H would not be considered
[EDIT] load a rubbish - as Stephen Tu says in next post I had seen 1C opener. Still stick with 1N

hi lycier,
Whilst I agree with nullve's 1NT overcall, that's a big hand knowing the ♠ and opening bidder are under you. Just as a hand it comes out at 18.05 on Kaplan & Rubens hand evaluator.
2♥ could well be passed out I feel, when partner doesn't need much to make game a possibility.
On this occasion, I'll go for X. It's not ideal as it could present rebid problems. 2♥ looks the sensible overcall but I feel it is an underbid, in my opinion.

Only a near-maximum for an overcall. I want more than this to double and bid. 2H. 1NT?? Could work, not my style.

Hi , many thanks to everyone.
1- If your choice is 1N, how about Gib?
I have to say fairly that Gib never choose 1N on Gib CC, but......see example hand.
Now see its result, fortunately 3♣N+2. However I think it is only for a good day, if in a bad day,
Its result is 3♣N-1
2- If the choice is 2♥, you will get 50% score in MP.
The result : 2♥S+1
3- If the choice is double, Gib will take a rediculous auction.
Here, very difficult to understand jump 3♥.
BTW, after 2♦, if South wants to raise 3♣, it shows " 4+♣,18-20TPs " on Gib CC.

I think that part of the problem is that after having overcalled 1N Gib allows South to back in with 2H on as few as 4 card h suit, making it hard for North to pass with only 2 card support.
Gib does this in a lot of situations when really you would only bid with 5.

Nihao Lycier,
I like your analyses, looking at different GIB solutions and comparing the results. Very helpful.
I am not sure what I would do. I think the hand is just good enough for double but I wouldn't argue with 2♥ or 1NT.
Obviously, if I started with double then 2♥ on the next round is enough.

The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket

With GIB you should avoid making off-shape doubles like the plague. No amount of rebidding a suit will convince him you don't have support for all the suits. From what I am told, it is a very difficult thing to program for GIB to understand double then bid might be on a wide variety of shapes.
With the hand given, I would overcall 2H even playing with a human, so with GIB it's easy.

Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.
