I am sending my message (see post #156) to the following people:

samboone (group 3)
prasanna (group 1)
geoffff (group 5)
eblenner (group 5)

I assume at least two of them are not aware that they have applied for this event. I'll let you know about the response tomorrow.

No worries. I enjoyed our push at 4H down 5.

Suggestion for next event - if a player with pending challenges does not accept or contact you / post in the forum regarding availability within 3 days, they're considered to have defaulted. When sfi posted saying unavailable the first week, that's no problem at all. That way, we're not hanging around for ages wondering if someone is actually playing or not and renewing challenges all the time.

Lol. Typical board 1 tank from my phone.

Need to take the head to heads more seriously.

Geoffff (group 5) will not play. Here's his reply:

"If I signed up, it was by accident. Can you remove me from the list, please?Thank you"

eblenner and brigimon finally accepted my challenge:

smerriman 5.5 - brigimon 4.5
http://webutil.bridg...715&u=smerriman

smerriman 6 - eblenner 4
http://webutil.bridg...704&u=smerriman

With geoffff not playing, that just leaves sfi (now accepted + half completed).

PS - if, say, I beat someone by 5.5 - 4.5 and they forfeit all other matches, everyone else in the group would get a score of 6. Might pay to bump up people under the average in that case ;)

Many apologies to herzas and tonywuhk for not completing the challenge. I very foolishly made several challenges at once, thinking I had two weeks to complete them, and then discovered it was the normal 'challenge' time, of course. I won't make that mistake again!

I don't mind if you create challenge and play it again.

I agree with 'tonywuhk'. If it's okay, we ignore the first challenge and we play another one.
